"On March 1, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on the 175th km of the Lena federal highway in the area of the stele towards the airport from the city of Tynda. It was established that a Hyundai Creta car entered the oncoming traffic lane, where it collided with an Isuzu Giga truck," the agency said in a statement.

The State Traffic Inspectorate of the region clarified that among the dead were a driver born in 1968 and a passenger born in 1949 of a Hyundai Creta car. At the same time, another passenger born in 1972 was hospitalized.
