Authorities Ukraine has offered France to produce weapons using the proceeds from Russia's frozen assets. This was announced on March 1 by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Sergei Boev, at a meeting with the special representative of the President of France for assistance and reconstruction of Ukraine, Pierre Elbron, proposed to create enterprises for the production of weapons in accordance with Ukrainian needs.

"Ukraine has offered France to use the proceeds from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation in favor of the Ukrainian defense industry (military-industrial complex. — Ed.)," the Ukrainian ministry said in a statement.
