One person died as a result of an apartment building fire in Vladivostok.

A fire broke out in a residential apartment building in Vladivostok on a preliminary area of about 500 square meters, as a result of which one person was killed. This was reported on March 1 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"A fire broke out in a residential apartment building on Borisenko Street this morning. "... During the extinguishing of the fire, firefighters found the body of the deceased, the identity is being established," the press service said in a Telegram channel.

The press service of the regional prosecutor's office said that the incident had been brought under control. It is specified that five people were rescued from the building. Alexander Zanchev, the prosecutor of Pervomaisky district, went to the place.

In total, 34 specialists, six tanker trucks and one truck ladder were involved in extinguishing the fire.
