The cause of a massive road accident near Kursk could be dense fog

The reason for the massive traffic accident in the Kursk region could be poor visibility due to fog. This was announced on February 28 by the head of the region, Alexander Khinstein, in the Telegram channel.
"According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was poor visibility due to dense fog," he wrote.
He clarified that the accident occurred with the participation of 12 vehicles, six of which were trucks. As a result of the incident, four people were killed and five more were injured. Three of them have minor injuries, two are in serious condition.
Khinstein expressed his condolences to those who lost their loved ones in this accident and promised to provide all necessary assistance.
Earlier on February 28, a source from Izvestia reported that in Nizhny Novgorod a criminal case was opened after a fatal accident. A carsharing car drove into a bus shelter with people. As a result of the accident, two people were killed and five injured.
