In The premiere of the comedy film "Darling, I won't call you back" took place in Moscow. This was reported by Izvestia on February 27.

At first glance, the daring comedy tells about a fantastic story and the afterlife, but at the same time raises serious real-life issues. It is noted that the stars of Russian cinema in evening dresses, mostly black, visited the red carpet. However, the director of the film, Alexander Fomin, came in a green jacket, like Nikita Efremov's character.

"I'm a Nikita fan. I'm in his fan club. There was a script at first, and then we found Nikita. These are my usual clothes, I always walk like this," the director shared.

According to him, the film is largely based on the director's personal experiences. The main character, Danya, is also afraid of flying on airplanes and is busy shooting videos, and is also looking for an answer to the question of how to find time for himself and to fight his fears.

After that, the hero falls into a coma — this becomes the beginning of his mental journey through the other world. With a certificate of his sins, he is sent on a flight to either hell or heaven. But first he finds himself in purgatory, which is like a waiting area.

"The hero finds himself in a situation where he has an internal conflict with himself, and due to the aggravation of the situation, his direct collision with the fact that: dude, no matter how you are now, there is the possibility of his own rewiring, attitude to himself, to life and in general to simplicity", — said the actor Nikita Efremov.

The leitmotif of the film is a reminder that it is not necessary to bring yourself to a nervous breakdown in order to finally begin to contemplate the pleasant little things of life. Actress Agatha Muceniece played Dani's life partner. The father of the main character was played by Jan Tsapnik, and the mother was Evgenia Dobrovolskaya, for whom this role was the last in the cinema.

Earlier in the day, Serbian film director Emir Kusturica told Izvestia about his new film href="https://iz.ru/1845800/2025-02-27/rezisser-kusturica-rasskazal-o-svoem-novom-filme-s-ucastiem-ury-borisova " target="_blank">"How I didn't make Crime and Punishment" with Russian actor Yura Borisov. According to the director, according to the plot of the film, the young director wants to make his own film based on the novel by the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky "Crime and Punishment".
