"The total number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons exceeds 10,000. About 3.6 thousand of them were detained on administrative matters. They have not been officially charged, which is considered a violation of international laws and regulations, as well as the Third and Fourth Geneva Conventions," he said.According to a Hamas official, during the first phase of the cease-fire, it is assumed that 296 Palestinians sentenced to life imprisonment should be released.
