Six adults and a child were injured in an accident in Bashkiria.

An accident involving two cars occurred in Bashkiria, during which seven people were injured, including one child. This was announced on February 26 by the Republican State Committee for Emergency Situations.

The accident occurred on Wednesday night on the highway near the village of Karagai-Yurt in the Beloretsky district of the republic.

"As a result of the collision, a woman was trapped in a VAZ-2112 car. With the help of a special tool, rescuers unblocked the victim and handed her over to the ambulance staff," the agency said in a statement on the VKontakte social network.

The causes of the accident are currently being determined.
