The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has filed charges in absentia against Russian author and performer SHAMAN (real name - Yaroslav Dronov). This was reported by the agency's Telegram channel on February 25.

Ukrainian authorities accuse him of publicly endorsing Russia's special military operation, including through performances at concerts in support of Russia.

"Based on the collected evidence, investigators of the Security Service informed Dronov in absentia of suspicion under part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the SBU said in a statement.

Earlier, on January 10, in Kiev, the police were looking for young people who drove around the city and listened to the song SHAMAN "I am Russian". It was specified that they blocked traffic in the center of the Ukrainian capital.
