Time of "Real": SHAMAN took to the stage of Moscow Art Theater together with poets
The literary and musical evening was born in the art cluster "Tavrida", and united young authors who tell about the fates and feelings of Russian residents who care about what is happening in the liberated territories. As the creators say, "Real" is the voice of time, which reflects our reality. On the theatrical scaffolding participants of the project performed for the first time. On the stage of the Moscow Art Theater, the poets were joined by SHAMAN, the rapper ST, the group GRINKEVICH, Sergei Nikhaenko. "Izvestia" visited the performance and assessed the prospects of the project.
Residents and a big bonus
"Real" is the only project in Russia in the format of a spectacular concert-performance, actively working with contemporary poets writing on the theme of SWO. The production involves a whole pleiad of contemporary Russian authors: Anna Revyakina, Mikhail Mamaev, Anton Shagin, Mark Leshkevich, Sofia Yudina, Igor Karaulov, Roman Sorokin, Dmitry Larionov, Alexander Antipov, Tatiana Koptelova, Inna Teplova. Zakhar Prilepin, Oleg Roy, SHAMAN, rapper ST, GRINKEVICH group, Sergey Nikhaenko, Sergey Chuikov, Vladimir Babenko, Tema Kuba, LEBEDEVA and Vasily Pasechnik were also announced in the poster. A worthy cast. That's why the tickets for "The Real" were sold out as soon as they appeared on sale.
- The project was born out of a literary workshop, in which poets talked a lot with participants of the SWO, with eyewitnesses of the events, with volunteers, and someone himself went to Donbass to see what was happening with his own eyes, - said the head of the Art-Cluster "Tavrida" Ksenia Artemyeva. - This laboratory helped to attract well-known colleagues, artists and singers. The result was an honest, very sincere, tear-jerking concert. What the participants will demonstrate from the stage is their lived experience together with millions of residents of Donbass, with those whose homes were once knocked on by misfortune.
Igor Karaulov has participated in all the projects of "Real" since March 2023. For the first time, the poetry evening was held in the Lenin Library (RGB). Then poems and songs were performed at the International Exhibition-Forum "Russia" and at Sirius.

- This is a new stage for us - a glorified theater stage, which has more possibilities of scenery, a different layout, light, sound - shared with "Izvestia" poet Igor Karaulov. - But the main thing is preserved, the backbone of the texts is the same. And the audience will also hear music. We will be joined by residents of the Art-Cluster "Tavrida" and SHAMAN. We are also looking forward to Zakhar Prilepin. I think this is a great event for the whole of Moscow.

The audience began to gather outside the theater even two hours before the start. Many came from other cities. When they were launched into the foyer, SHAMAN fans could be easily distinguished by "I am Russian" and "Victory" sweatshirts.
For the sake of the performance, the artist interrupted his tour and came to the Moscow Art Theater directly from Saratov.
- It's exciting to perform on such a platform, a large number of worthy people, real people, will come on stage! - SHAMAN shared with Izvestia. - I don't share love for my homeland, my family, my friends, my country, for me it's one whole. I even have a song that says: "And I just want to love and breathe, and I don't need anything else".

As the artist confessed, in childhood he dreamed of the stage, but about the musical. And if in the Moscow Art Theater he performs in the usual role, then on February 5 and 6 will fulfill the dream of fans, SHAMAN will sing the main role in the ethno-opera "Prince Vladimir", which was written by Igor Matvienko. The composer will celebrate his 65th birthday on the day of the premiere.
Songs from the front line
Singer Sergei Nikhaenko is a native of Lugansk. He worked in the House of Culture Lutugino. And on February 23, 2022, a day before the beginning of the Soviet military service, he volunteered to defend his homeland. He got to serve in the 202nd Rifle Regiment of the Second Separate Guards Brigade of the LNR People's Militia.
- The song "Travushka-muravushka" was written in the trenches and is dedicated to all those who are now on the front line, - Nikhaenko told "Izvestia". - I do not call my compositions patriotic, they are about love, about man. They are simply written in difficult circumstances. With them it is difficult to break through to the federal channels, but slowly we are trying to break through the concrete of show business with our music, poems, meanings.
Nikhaenko's songs are sung at the front. And the rapper ST recorded together with Sergei the composition "Thoughts", which became the soundtrack to the TV series "2022".

The concert was also attended by honored artist of the LNR Sergei Chuikov. He, like his colleague, is a participant of a special military operation, where he went as a volunteer and liberated Mariupol. From the stage of the Moscow Art Theater he performed his song "A Soldier Sleeps".

Roman Sorokin read from the stage an untitled poem dedicated to People's Artist of the USSR Yuri Nikulin. Tears flowed for some people.
- In 2023 it was 100 years of Leonid Gaidai, his movies were shown, - Roman recalls. - I turned on the TV, "The Diamond Arm" was on. And then I heard a phrase I had never paid attention to. When a police captain in a cab hands his hero Semyon Gorbunkov a gun, he replied: "Since the war I have not held a military weapon. And I realized that in front of me is not a comedy actor, and Sergeant Yuri Nikulin, who went through the entire war. And Stanislav Chekan, who played a policeman - a combat pilot, Leonid Gaidai - also went through the war, Anatoly Papanov - a veteran of the Great Patriotic War.

As the author believes, this story rhymes with what is happening in the zone of the NWO. And now the soldiers perform the same tasks as their grandfathers on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. And now the main goal is the fight against Nazism.
Alexander Antipov - an artist of the Moscow Theater of poets Vlad Malenko - notes that there is an opinion in society that after the departure of Brodsky, Yevtushenko, Voznesensky, there is no one to write poetry.
- But even at our annual "Filatov Fest" more than two thousand poets send their works, - he says. - Our super task is to create a layer of Russian literature from modern young poets. And they can become the basis for posterity. The main thing in poetry should be the right meanings, so that it feels the love for the homeland, as it is read from the lines of Pushkin, Lermontov, Yesenin, poets-front-line soldiers.

Poetess Anna Revyakina came to the concert from Donetsk. She is sure that Russian poetry develops cyclically. And it is obvious that now we are experiencing a surge, a boom that began in 2022.
- The real authors of poetry of modern Russia will come on this stage, and their poetry will sound for our audience to get acquainted with them," believes actor Anton Shagin. - The enemy is slandering and framing the events from his side. But we must record this tragedy from the point of view of the truth and bring it to our children, to the generations to come.
Shagin not only serves in "Mark Zakharov's Lenkom", starring in movies, but also writes poetry. At the evening he recited "The only armor on him is a cross..."
Zakhar Prilepin read a story about how he dreamed of Alexander Zakharchenko. The deceased head of the DNR was silent, but he wanted to say something important. The most terrible thing that came to mind, did not want to say. But when on February 24, 2022, the media reported on the beginning of the SWO, the writer was strengthened in a terrible guess - a friend warned about the beginning of the war. "Pray for our guys defending the world..." continued Zakhar Prilepin. Together with him the lines of Ivan Kupreyanov's poem were read by Vladimir Babenko and Yaroslav Dronov. And then all the audience, from the parterre to the balconies, rose from their seats. The first chords of the song "Let's Stand Up", which is called the anthem of the SVO, sounded from the stage.
The evening ended with a long ovation. I want to believe that the efforts of artists will not go unnoticed, and "Real" will become a repertory performance of one of the capital's theaters.
