"Yellow" level of weather danger due to icy conditions has been extended in Moscow and the Moscow region until the evening of February 27. This is reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, February 25.

"The warning period until 21:00 on February 27 - in places icy," - quotes the message of the agency of city news "Moscow".

Earlier the warning was in effect until 23:00 on February 26.

In turn, the chief specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatiana Pozdnyakova said that last night in the Moscow region the minimum air temperature was below -20 degrees Celsius, writes "Moscow 24".

Forecaster of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Ilyin on February 25 predicted frosty weather in the capital in the last days of February, reports 360.ru. According to him, at night the air temperature will drop in places to -14 degrees Celsius. However, as Pozdnyakova noted, by the end of the week the air temperature will start to rise and will stay around 0 degrees.

Also Ilyin noted that at night the temperature will fall to -9, in some places - to -14 degrees. During the day in the first half of the week is expected from -2 to -7, according to the website kp.ru.
