February has become the coldest month of winter and one of the three driest months of the XXI century.

Weather in other regions of Russia for March 2025

In March 2025 in Primorsky Krai and the Russian Far East, weather conditions typical for this time of year are expected. In Primorsky Krai, including Vladivostok, the beginning of March will be cool, with daytime temperatures around -1 degrees Celsius and nighttime temperatures down to -12 degrees Celsius. Windy days and light precipitation in the form of snow are possible. By the end of the month, temperatures will gradually rise, reaching +5 degrees during the day and about -3 degrees at night.

In Khabarovsk in early March, daytime temperatures will be around -6 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will drop to -15 degrees Celsius. In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, March is characterized by cold and snowy weather. Daytime temperatures at the beginning of the month will be around -1 degrees, nighttime temperatures will be as low as -12 degrees. Snowfalls and windy days are possible.

March remains a cold month in Magadan. Daytime temperatures at the beginning of spring will be about -12 degrees, at night the thermometer will drop to -18 degrees.

A gradual increase is expected in the Krasnodar region. At the beginning of the month, daytime temperatures in Krasnodar will range from +5 to +8 degrees Celsius, nighttime temperatures will range from -2 to +3 degrees Celsius. On average, in March in Krasnodar falls about 60 mm of precipitation, which is about 10% of the annual norm. About 10 rainy days, 9 days with variable cloudiness, 7 cloudy days and 5 clear days are expected. The average humidity will be around 73% and the prevailing wind direction will be southerly, with an average speed of 4 m/s.

Other cities in the region, such as Sochi, Novorossiysk, Armavir and Yeisk, will experience similar weather conditions. In Sochi, for example, daytime temperatures in March may reach +11 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will be around +4 degrees Celsius. In Novorossiysk, daytime temperatures will range from +6 to +12 degrees Celsius. In Armavir and Yeysk, temperature indicators will be close to those in Krasnodar, with slight deviations.
