BRICS bank chief Rousseff hospitalized in Shanghai

The head of the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB) Dilma Rousseff was hospitalized in Shanghai due to indisposition. Brazilian lawmaker Jose Guimarães said on social network X (formerly Twitter) on February 24.

"I wish recovery to Dilma Rousseff, who was hospitalized in Shanghai for treatment of an ailment that doctors do not regard as serious," the message reads.

According to Brazilian newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, Rousseff was taken to the hospital because she complained of vomiting, dizziness and high blood pressure.
