Forecaster warns of a frosty end of February in Moscow

Forecaster of the Meteo forecasting center Alexander Ilyin has predicted frosty weather in Moscow in the last days of February.

In a conversation with aif.ru, the expert noted that it will be sunny, frosty and snowless in the capital. At night, the air temperature will fall to -9 degrees, in some places - to -14 degrees. During the day in the first half of the week thermometer columns will show from -2 to -7 degrees.

Already on Thursday, February 27, the temperature will reach zero, and by the weekend may warm up to +2 degrees.

Atmospheric pressure will decrease by the end of the working week to 750-755 mm Hg.

On the same day, the head of the forecasting center "Meteo" Alexander Shuvalov said that significant changes in the temperature regime in the Central part of Russia spilled over to the beginning of March. Throughout the working week, the temperature in general in the regions will be at a low level, at night the indicators will reach about -15 degrees, during the day from 0 to -5 degrees, reports RIAMO.

On February 24, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand warned of a cold snap in the capital on Shrovetide.
