A volunteer was injured in an animal shelter fire in the Sverdlovsk region

A fire occurred in the animal shelter "4 Paws" in Berezovsky, Sverdlovsk region. A volunteer was injured, animals died. This was reported on February 24 in the group of the shelter in "VKontakte".

According to volunteers, the fire occurred in a neighboring room from the shelter. Thanks to their efforts managed to save several dozen cats and dogs. One of the volunteers, who actively participated in the rescue of animals, was hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning.

According to the press service of the Sverdlovsk Region Emergency Situations Ministry, a report of a fire in an apartment building on Kirovsky Settlement Street came in the evening of February 23.
