"This is a mistaken tactic of action, which the West planned even before the start of the special military operation. They expected that with two or three packages of sanctions they would destroy the Russian economy, introduce destabilization inside the country. "All this failed, it didn't work," he said in a conversation with "Lenta.ru".

According to him, the West wanted to destroy the Russian economy with several sanctions packages and destabilize the situation inside the country, but "all of this derailed."
