Wilfand admits return of hard frosts in March

In March, the temperature may drop to -13 degrees Celsius in the European territory of Russia. This was reported on February 23 "RIA Novosti" by the scientific head of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.

According to him, March remains a winter month, so the temperature drop to -10...-13 degrees Celsius during this period is a normal phenomenon. Although January was abnormally warm, frosts to minus -10 may persist until March 20.

Vilfand also added that snow in the European part of Russia will melt earlier than usual.
