In the Kherson region, five civilians were injured by AFU shelling over the day

As a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops in Kherson Region, five civilians were injured over the day. This was reported by regional governor Volodymyr Saldo in his Telegram channel on February 22.

Saldo specified that two people were wounded in Golopristansky municipality as a result of a strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), one of whom was hospitalized and the other was treated on the spot.

According to the governor, three people were injured in the shelling in Alyoshkin district. Two cars were damaged. All the wounded were taken to the Alyoshkin central district hospital.

"The enemy's terrorist strike on Knyaza-Grigoryevka in Velikolepetikhsky municipal district damaged a residential house and a power line. For a while about 80 people were left without light. Now the power supply has been restored in full" - added Saldo.

In addition, the governor said that the AFU shelled Kakhovka, Novaya Kakhovka, Rybalka, Solontsi, Proletarka, Novaya Mayachka and Korsunka.

On February 21, the Telegram channel of the Donetsk People's Republic's (DNR) representation in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues reported that Ukrainian troops fired 75 units of various ammunition at the region. It is specified that five residential buildings, six civilian infrastructure facilities and one car were damaged. No casualties were reported.
