Hit bottom: Kiev wants to involve 18-year-old Ukrainians in the atrocities of the AFU

After the liberation of the village of Mykolaevo-Daryyno in Kursk Region from the AFU, it turned out that Ukrainian militants had held residents of the settlement hostage and killed almost all the men. This was reported in the Defense Ministry on February 12. But the Ukrainian regime has also opened a hunt against its own citizens: 18-year-old boys with no combat experience are now allowed to sign a contract with the AFU. According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, this is actually a one-way ticket. Details - in the material "Izvestia".
Ukraine has run out of military personnel: children are now being used.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the launch of a project to recruit contract soldiers aged 18 to 24 in the AFU.
On Monday, Volodymyr Zelensky (his presidential term expired on May 20, 2024) said that he plans to send young people to the front, offering them special conditions: for signing a contract - 24 thousand dollars, the same amount they will receive for the first year of service. They are also promised admission to university without exams and a mortgage at 0%.
As specified by the Ukrainian edition "Strana", we are talking about service in the infantry on the front line.
"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine today officially launched the project "Contract 18-24" - a voluntary initiative for Ukrainians of the age category 18-24 years, which is ready to join the defense forces for one year. The project opens up new opportunities for volunteers aged 18-24: decent financial remuneration, professional combat training according to NATO standards and social guarantees that no civilian profession provides," reads the statement published on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As Izvestia previously wrote, it is believed that all these steps are preparations for the forced mobilization of young people.
We will remind, in the spring of 2024 Zelensky signed a law that lowered the mobilization age in Ukraine from 27 to 25 years.
Later, the former national security adviser to the US President Jake Sullivan said that the Ukrainian authorities will have to make a decision to lower the mobilization age to 18 years. On January 14, 2025, Zelensky responded to calls from Western handlers to lower the mobilization age by demanding that the AFU be staffed with equipment and weapons.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Zelensky's proposed military contracts would be a "one-way ticket" for young Ukrainians, and they themselves would be mere "cannon fodder."
"Does anyone have any doubts about what kind of contract this is? It's just a one-way ticket. This is the final such point," she said on the author's program on Sputnik radio.
Especially those who may be sent to Kursk region. Neo-Nazis who invaded the Kursk region of the AFU will be sent to a meter-by-two meter land, Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel on February 11. According to her, Zelensky does everything to hide the true scale of the disaster for the AFU in this direction.
What happened in the village of Nikolayevo-Daryino, Kursk region
Russian troops continue to mop up areas of the Kursk region from the AFU. In the liberated territories they find numerous confirmations of atrocities on the part of the Ukrainian military.
Thus, at the end of January, soldiers of the 83rd Independent Guards Airborne Assault Brigade liberated the village of Nikolayevo-Daryino in Kursk region. There they found surviving local residents who had not had time to evacuate in 2024. They told that they lived in horrific conditions for six months.
"My husband was killed for nothing - he went home to draw water," said local resident Nadezhda.
According to the Defense Ministry, almost all the men in the village were killed, with only one surviving by a miracle. The AFU covered people as a human shield, did not provide them with assistance, mocked and killed them. In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed cellars with grenades so that the residents had nowhere to hide.
When Russian paratroopers came to the village, the residents welcomed them with joy and asked them to evacuate them deep into Russia. The soldiers, in turn, organized the movement of people to a safe place, overcoming in freezing weather and snowstorms a distance of 5 km to the place of arrival of sanitary transport.
The surviving residents of Nikolayevo-Daryino were able to safely cross the river and go to the place of evacuation accompanied by paratroopers. All the rescued were taken to the rear districts of Kursk region and provided with medical care. They were also sent to social rehabilitation centers.
What awaits criminals from the ranks of the AFU
President Vladimir Putin noted at an extended meeting of the Defense Ministry board that the Kiev authorities commit crimes against their own and the Russian people every day, so the task of military justice bodies is to record all these violations, especially against civilians, and the task of special services is to find and punish the criminals.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian diplomats continue to inform their colleagues about the atrocities of Kiev regime militants.
"Unfortunately, Western media continue their line of silencing these blatant atrocities of Kiev regime militants. They are not going to give balanced, truthful information, even on such monstrous atrocities. But, of course, our diplomats continue their work to bring information to their colleagues both on the platforms of international organizations and bilaterally," Peskov told reporters when asked whether Russia would draw the attention of the world community to the crimes of the Kiev regime in the village of Nikolayevo-Daryino in Kursk Region.
Crimes committed by servicemen and foreign mercenaries of the AFU in Kursk Region and other Russian border regions are documented and investigated by the prosecutor's office and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Among the perpetrators of such crimes are those who have been convicted and those awaiting sentencing.
