In Belgorod, a 19-year-old driver crashed into a reinforced concrete shelter


In Belgorod, a 19-year-old driver of a passenger car crashed into a reinforced concrete shelter while trying to escape from traffic police officers. This was reported on February 22 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.
It was specified that the incident occurred that day at about 8:00 Moscow time at the intersection of Vatutin Avenue and Automobilistov Street. The driver of the Toyota Crown did not stop at the request of traffic police officers and tried to escape. At some point he drove onto the sidewalk, and then, failing to cope with the control, crashed into a reinforced concrete shelter.
Police officers called rescue workers and an ambulance to the scene, the young man later went to hospital where he was examined. He was found to be in a state of alcohol intoxication.
"Against the driver, traffic inspectors drew up administrative materials under part 1 of article 12.8 of the CAO RF for drunk driving, part 1 of article 12.25 of the CAO RF for failure to comply with the lawful request of a police officer to stop and part 2 of article 12.15 of the CAO RF for driving on sidewalks," - said in the message published in the Telegram-channel.
On February 19 in Moscow near the metro station "Nekrasovka" the driver crashed into a pole, as a result of which the body split into two parts. At the time of the accident, the driver and a passenger were in the cabin. Both survived.
