A movie blogger predicted "Red Silk" status as one of the major projects of China and Russia

Russian-Chinese detective "Red Silk" may become one of the largest projects of the two countries. Film blogger Marcel Makedonsky told Izvestia on February 22 and urged everyone to watch the film.

"I think this movie may become one of the first such major joint projects," he said.

According to the blogger, further cooperation between Russia and China is possible, thanks to which "a lot of things can be filmed."

Macedonsky emphasized that "Red Silk" demonstrates the format of films that show that the budget was invested in visual aesthetics, expensive special effects and computer graphics. He noted that it is noticeable already from the trailer of the movie, on the video sequence in which, according to the blogger, "spent serious money."

Among the reasons that explain the desire to familiarize with the film, Macedonsky named the active interpenetration of cultures of Russia and China, as well as the story itself, in which the Soviet people unite with the Chinese and "jointly fight against conventional evil." He specified that this theme is very much in demand at the present time.

The movie blogger also pointed out the interest to get acquainted with the deeper meanings of the movie.

"Curious what will happen with the movie "Red Silk", because there and an international cast, and an impressive budget, and promising trailers. <...> Still, 900 million [rubles] budget - it's not a small amount," added Makedonsky.

The movie was presented by Bikovich, Kutsenko, Kalyuzhny and an actress from China

Russian-Chinese action film "Red Silk" was first presented in Europe on February 20. The film was shown in Berlin at the Russian House as part of the International Film Days. Among the audience were foreign movie producers. They noted the professionalism of the creators and actors, and also paid much attention to the plot.

The director of the project is Andrei Volgin. On February 18, the premiere screening took place. Actions motion picture unfolds in 1927 in China, where there are massacres of communists. Soviet intelligence officers accompany Chinese couriers to Moscow with secret documents. Further, according to the plot, in the Trans-Siberian Express will be murdered - the train will be attacked by bandits.

Actors Milos Bikovich, Gosha Kutsenko, Elena Podkaminskaya, Irina Alferova, Gleb Kalyuzhny, as well as Chinese actress Zheng Hanyi took part in the movie.
