Soldiers of the Bars-Tiger unit were awarded for bravery and heroism in the NWO zone

Servicemen of the Bars-Tiger volunteer unit have been presented with state awards for courage, heroism and bravery shown in the zone of the special military operation (SMO). This was reported in the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry on February 22.

"Volunteers of the unit "Bars-Tiger" for courage, bravery and heroism, shown in the performance of combat tasks during the special military operation, were presented with state and departmental awards. Combat awards for presentation to the volunteers were delivered to the Kursk region, where they are currently performing combat missions," the Defense Ministry said.

The ceremony was attended by more than 50 distinguished servicemen. Among the awards presented to them were the Order of Courage, medals "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the Ist and IInd degrees, "For Bravery" and "Volunteer Warrior". The medals were presented to the fighters by Major General Alexander Tulyaganov, a representative of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

"I have been a volunteer in the detachment since November 2022. Saved our 300 (wounded - Ed.) guys, pulled them from the front. That's why I was presented to the award" - said the head of the armored car service of the unit "Bars-Tiger" with call signs Mechanic.

Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of Primorsky Krai, also attended the gala event. In his speech, he encouraged the volunteers for service and combat feats. The governor also promised maximum support and employment assistance to those servicemen who served their contract and returned home.

"I am serving in the detachment for the second contract, the first one took place in Donetsk. <...> We get used to everything, we approach everything, we learn quickly. Constant training - firing ranges, medicine, communications, REB. That is, everything is constantly improving. As they say - hard in training, easy in battle," said a fighter with the call sign Aksis, company commander.

On February 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the staff of the Radar Mms enterprise with the Order of Alexander Nevsky. He noted that the enterprise makes a significant contribution to the defense and security of the Russian Federation, but also produces civilian products. He thanked all the veterans, management and employees of Radar Mms for their conscientious approach and responsibility in carrying out their tasks.
