Lavrov says agreement with Wang Yi on his visit to Moscow

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Johannesburg agreed on the visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister to Moscow. Lavrov said this on February 20 at the G20 ministerial meeting in South Africa.
"We have agreed on your visit to Moscow. So our next contact will be already in the Russian Federation," he said.
Lavrov stressed that relations between Moscow and Beijing remain a significant factor in stabilizing the international situation and preventing it from slipping into total confrontation.
"Russia and China will work in strategic conjunction in the UN Security Council and other formats," the Russian foreign minister said.
Lavrov arrived in Johannesburg on February 20 to attend the G20 foreign ministers' meeting. The presidency of the G20 passed to South Africa from Brazil on December 1 last year.
The previous G20 summit was held on November 18-19 in the Brazilian capital and was dedicated to "building a just world and a sustainable planet." The Russian delegation at the summit was headed by Lavrov.
