Trump confirmed plans for nuclear disarmament talks with Russian Federation and China


US President Donald Trump has confirmed his intention to negotiate with Russia and the People's Republic of China (PRC) on reducing the number of nuclear warheads. He said this on February 19 during the FII Priority forum, broadcast by the White House.
"The cooperation with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin on nuclear disarmament before the coronavirus pandemic was very successful. I think we will make progress," he stated.
At the same time, the American leader emphasized that the international community should not allow the use of nuclear weapons.
"The club of nuclear powers must not be allowed to expand," Trump said.
On February 20, Russian Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran Alexei Dedov told Izvestia about the West's approach to the Iran nuclear deal. According to him, Western countries are still very seriously opposing normalization of relations with Iran in this sphere and have not shown any constructive approach
