Part of the roof collapsed in a burning administrative building in Moscow

The fire on Varshavskoe highway in Moscow, where an office building is burning, is being extinguished by dozens of firefighters. This was reported by Izvestia correspondent Artem Yakovlenko on February 20.

"Dozens of firefighters' squads are working on the site. From here you can see that part of the roof has already collapsed. This black smoke can be seen from many kilometers away," he commented

The correspondent suggested that the building engulfed in fire began to melt plastic and burning wiring.

The day before in the area of the former building of the Research Center for Electronic Computer Technology (NICEVT) in the south of Moscow there was a large fire. According to preliminary data, the area of fire amounted to 1.5 thousand square meters. m. As noted by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 30 people were evacuated from the building on Varshavskoe highway. According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, a Ka-32 helicopter was involved in extinguishing the fire.
