Sobol NN minivan with all-wheel drive started selling in Russia

Sales of a new all-wheel drive minivan "Sobol NN 4×4" have started in Russia, the price of the novelty, taking into account special promotions and preferential terms starts from 4.02 million rubles. This is stated in the message of the company "Modern Transport Technologies" (STT), which was received by "Izvestia" on February 19.

Under the hood of the car is installed diesel engine G 2.5 with an output of 149.6 hp (420 Nm), paired with it works 6-speed manual transmission. "Sobol NN 4×4" is equipped with Part-Time all-wheel drive system. It allows you to connect the front axle when driving on slippery surfaces or off-road, and on roads with a good surface the torque is transmitted only to the rear wheels.

There is a locking differential of the rear axle and a reduction gearbox of planetary type in the transfer case with a high ratio - 2.82 (it is called a record for this class of cars). Ground clearance under the rear axle crankcase is 220 mm, and stability at side roll is up to 40°. The suspension is independent in the front and spring suspension in the rear. Ventilated disc brakes on all wheels are equipped with ABS system.

The cabin can accommodate seven people, including the driver. The seats of the third row move on special skids, the second and third rows can be folded into a sleeping place. The steering column is adjustable in inclination. In the base configuration, the car is equipped with air conditioning and winter package, including electric heating of the windshield, mirrors and front seats. Also available as standard equipment are keyless access, push-button engine start, electromechanical parking brake, electronic transfer case control, multimedia system with built-in navigation, light and rain sensors, and cruise control.

The body of the minivan is fixed on the frame and protected from corrosion due to the use of galvanized steel, technology of cataphoresis priming and factory treatment of the bottom with plastisols and hidden cavities with wax. The company guarantees no through corrosion for 12 years.

Earlier in the day it was reported that the company "Rex Motors", distributor of cars of South Korean brand KGM (former SsangYong), plans to start assembling cars at the plant "Avtotor" in the Kaliningrad region. The start of car production is scheduled for the fall of 2025. KGM is entering the Russian market with four models: the Tivoli, Korando and Torres crossovers, as well as the Rexton frame SUV.
