FPV drone calculations on fiber optics of the "West" group of troops hit pickup trucks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 18.

"Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the 25th Combined Arms Army of Army Group West using UAVs identified moving and camouflaged in the forest area pickup trucks of the AFU in the zone of the SSO in the Donetsk People's Republic," the ministry said in a statement.

Having analyzed this intelligence, Russian fighters decided to strike at the enemy vehicles, and the calculations of fiber-optic-controlled FPV drones promptly destroyed the pickup trucks.

The objective control footage, which was obtained in real time, shows that the drone hits were accurate.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of combat work by fighters of the Center group of troops in the point of Yasenovoye in the DNR, which was liberated on February 11. The ministry said that the assault and tank units of the Center troops group destroyed camouflaged machine-gun points, fortified positions and AFU manpower. The assault troops then began clearing basements and other structures. Some of the Ukrainian fighters fled, abandoning their weapons, wounded and dead fellow soldiers.
