In Moscow, a truck driver was killed in an accident on the Moscow Ring Road

The driver of a truck failed to cope with the control and flew into a barrier fence at the 49th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). He died on the spot, the Moscow State Automobile Inspectorate reported in its Telegram channel on February 18.

"According to preliminary data, at 5:24 hours on the inner side of the 49th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road, the driver of a truck failed to cope with the management and made a collision with the barrier fence separating traffic flows. The driver of the truck died on the spot from his injuries," the agency said.

At present, employees of the investigative and operational group and the capital's traffic police are working in the area of the accident and establish the causes and all the circumstances of the accident.

It is reported that the movement of cars on the site of the accident is difficult. Drivers are advised to choose another route for a detour.
