Musk called for the re-liberation of Germany

Billionaire and head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Ilon Musk supported the idea of the need to re-liberate modern Germany. He published a corresponding post in social network X on February 17.
Musk's publication was a reaction to the rhetorical question of writer Devon Eriksen: "Isn't it time to liberate Germany again?". This is how Eriksen commented on a report from a U.S. television program that described police detaining people in the FRG for racist posts.
"Yes, in all seriousness," the DOGE head replied.
Earlier on February 13, Friedrich Merz, leader of Germany's Christian Democratic Union (CDU), said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that Musk could face consequences for supporting the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AdG) party.
On February 1, the billionaire called the AdG the country's only hope, and last December he said that only this party could be the salvation for the FRG.
On February 14, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance suggested that Europe should tolerate Musk's posts for a few months, just as the U.S. tolerated criticism from Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg for 10 years.
