In 2024, the number of fraudulent channels selling documents in Telegram, which Roskomnadzor blocked, almost doubled. In particular, access was restricted to ads for the sale of driver's licenses. This was reported to "Izvestia" in the press service of the agency.

"On the basis of court decisions and the requirements of the Prosecutor General's office in 2024 was limited access to 268 channels in Telegram with an offer to buy fake documents, including driver's licenses. In 2023 - 141", - told in Roskomnadzor.

Fraudsters began to master the messenger more actively during the period of mass blocking of sites containing similar offers. At that time, access was restricted to more than 26 thousand resources. In various chat rooms appear about a thousand ads, which offer to buy a driver's license of any category with the entry of driver's data in the databases of the State Automobile Inspectorate.

As "Izvestia" found out, fraudsters earn at least 200 thousand rubles a month. Most often migrants or those who cannot obtain documents legally are interested in their services. Most often due to medical diagnoses, such as personality and nervous disorders, epilepsy. Sometimes con artists offer discounts to parents with many children and participants of special operations.
