Britain expands list of sanctions against Russia by five items

The United Kingdom has added three more individuals and two organizations to the anti-Russian sanctions list. This is evidenced by a document on the website of the Government of the United Kingdom on February 14.
In particular, the restrictions were imposed on the director of the Russian Federal Service for Technical and Export Control Vladimir Selin, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Fradkov and businessman Artem Chaika.
EU diplomatic chief Kaja Kallas on January 27 officially confirmed the agreement to extend sanctions against Russia for six months. The restrictions will come into force on February 22. In turn, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on February 12 that the EU was preparing new restrictions amid the difficult situation of its own economy.
