The State Duma has introduced a draft law on the enforcement of the decision on conscription for military service

The State Duma has introduced a bill, according to which the decision to call up for military service, which was not executed during the draft, should be executed in the following periods during the year. This is stated in the document, which is available in the Duma electronic base on February 13.

It is specified that amendments are proposed to the law "On military duty and military service". The authors of the bill were deputies led by the Chairman of the Committee of the lower house of Parliament on defense Andrei Kartapolov, notes "Gazeta.Ru".

The document states that the adoption of the bill will significantly reduce the burden on draft commissions, reduce the financial obligations of the federal budget for the organization and conduct of conscription, including medical examination of conscripts, as well as exclude cases of repeated appeal against decisions of draft commissions.

The bill also provides for the possibility of creating one draft board in cities of federal significance, as well as in two or more municipal districts, municipal and urban districts.

On the same day in the State Duma introduced a bill that provides for a tougher fine for failure to notify the military recruitment office about moving to another address. The size of the administrative fine will vary from Br10 thousand to Br20 thousand depending on the conditions of the offense. Currently, the size of the administrative fine for such an offense ranges from Br1 thousand to Br5 thousand.
