A bill has been submitted to the State Duma, which provides for a tougher fine for failure to notify the military commission about moving to another address. The corresponding document was published on February 13 on the website of the system of legislative activity.

The project proposes to make an amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO) to impose a fine on Russians who do not inform the military recruitment office about moving to a new place of residence, not confirmed by registration. The law will apply if the move is planned for more than three months.

The size of the administrative fine will vary from Br10 thousand to Br20 thousand, depending on the conditions of the offense. Currently, the size of the administrative fine for such an offense is from one thousand to five thousand rubles.

February 3,the Russian government supported the bill to toughen penalties for failure to notify military commissions about the fact of moving. Then it was specified that the author of the amendments was the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov.
