MosBirch Index exceeded 3200 points for the first time since July 2024
The MosBirch ruble index with an additional code (IMOEX2) for the first time since July 3, 2024 has overcome the mark of 3200 points. This follows from the trading data of the Russian stock indicator.
It is specified that by 23:21 (Moscow time), the index was equal to 3190 points. At its peak, it reached a mark of 3201 points.
Its growth began after the phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump took place.
Earlier, on February 10, it was reported that the MosBirch index exceeded the milestone of 3000 points for the first time since July 2024. So by 14:41 Moscow time, the index amounted to 3002.34 points (+1.2%) - the maximum since July 26 last year. The rise, among other factors, was influenced by the rise in the price of Brent futures to $75.6 per barrel.
