Dutch Defense Minister announces transfer of 25 armored vehicles to Ukraine

Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans on Wednesday, February 12, in a conversation with journalists announced the transfer of 25 armored vehicles to Ukraine, which, according to him, will be an important support to the Kiev regime.
"There are many other things we are working on, like our action plan on drones for hundreds of millions, because Ukraine needs a lot more weapons on the battlefield" - said the minister.
He also noted that the administration of former U.S. President Joe Biden gave Ukraine a lot of support, but this should not be expected from the current U.S. leader Donald Trump, so Europe should continue to support the Kiev regime.
Earlier in the day, Reuters reported that London will provide Kiev with a new £150 million (about $186.6 million) military aid package, which will include drones, air defense systems (air defense systems) and tanks.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova pointed out that what the West has gotten from aid to Ukraine is only the destruction of the economies of several major European Union (EU) states. She urged officials of Kiev's allied countries to recognize the damage done, because this is increasingly being discussed by the media and the public.
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said on February 11 that the U.S. believes that Ukraine's return to its pre-2014 borders is unrealistic, and that the country has reached a "critical stage" in the conflict itself. The U.S. defense secretary said the crisis must end.
Western countries stepped up sanctions pressure on Russia after the start of the special operation to protect civilians in Donbas, which was announced on February 24, 2022.
