In 2025, the cost of a date on Valentine's Day will increase by 7% year-on-year to 6,739 rubles. Analytical project T-Data has calculated the T-Bank Romantic Index (formerly Tinkoff Romantic Index), experts have studied the banking operations of customers for five years and made a forecast of spending, which was read by Izvestia on February 13.
A date includes: dinner in a cafe or restaurant for two, movie tickets, flowers and two cab rides.
In Moscow, a romantic event will cost the most expensive - 9,921 rubles. Residents of St. Petersburg and Ufa will spend an average of 8,214 and 7,136 rubles, respectively. The top five leaders in the cost of a date are also Kazan (7 109 rubles) and Krasnodar (7 005 rubles). The cheapest way to celebrate the holiday will be in Volgograd.
The cost of a romantic dinner on average in Russia increased by 10%. The index increased more strongly in Ufa, Novosibirsk and Krasnodar - by 30, 24 and 21% respectively. The highest average check in Moscow is 1,998 rubles, and the lowest is in Perm: 762 rubles.
The average check in the "cinema" category rose by 2% over last year. The cost of tickets for two people in Krasnodar and Moscow is higher than in other cities and amounts to 850 and 831 rubles. The cheapest trip to the movies will cost residents of Volgograd - in 534 rubles.
The greatest growth in the category of "cab" occurred in Krasnoyarsk and amounted to 23%. While in Omsk this indicator decreased by 8%. The most expensive trip in Moscow - 689 rubles. On average in Russia, the average check increased by 5% relative to 2024.
At the same time, the average cost of a bouquet on Valentine's Day increased by 8% compared to last year. The biggest growth showed Voronezh, Krasnoyarsk and Perm, where the average check increased by 33% and 20% and amounted to 2,381, 2,506 and 1,962 rubles respectively. In the capital this figure decreased by 2%, to buy a bouquet of flowers will cost an average of 2,885 rubles.
