Two people died in a fire at a cardiac center in Bishkek


Two people died as a result of a fire in the National Center of Cardiology in Bishkek. This was reported on February 11 by the head of the Kyrgyz Emergencies Ministry Boobek Azhikeev on Facebook (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia).
"Thanks to the prompt actions of firefighters and rescuers, 260 people were evacuated in the shortest possible time. Unfortunately, there are casualties. Two people died," he wrote on his page.
According to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, six fire brigades and employees of the city rescue service were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes of the fire are being investigated. Evacuated patients are placed in the nearest hospitals and are under the supervision of medical personnel.
