Several houses were damaged by AFU shelling in Rylsk


Several houses were damaged in Rylsk, Kursk Region, as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on February 10 by Alexander Khinshtein, the region's acting governor, in his Telegram channel.
"This morning the Ukronazis again shelled residential neighborhoods of Rylsk, as a result five private houses on 2nd Sadovaya Street were damaged," the statement said.
It added that on Pervoprokhodatsev Street, the roof was punctured in several houses, as well as damaged doors and windows, a barn and a fence were partially destroyed.
According to him, none of the civilians were injured.
At the moment, a commission is working at the scene to assess the damage and provide necessary assistance to the residents.
On the same day, Hinshtein reported that a 33-year-old female civilian was injured in the Kursk region after an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was dropped by the AFU. It was specified that the Russian military took the injured woman to the hospital, where she is receiving all the necessary assistance. Her life is not threatened.
The AFU attacked the positions of the Russian Federation in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
