The Russian Foreign Ministry spoke about Nicaragua's connection to the EAEU

Over the past year, a good pace of work has been gained and the first meeting of the joint working group of Nicaragua and the EAEU was held. During the meeting, projects for potential cooperation were announced and contacts were established through the union's business council, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin said in an interview with Izvestia.
"We expect the Nicaraguan side to actively immerse itself in the processes of Eurasian integration, including through participation in public events along the lines of the union," the diplomat said.
A memorandum of cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Nicaraguan government was signed in January 2024.
