An industrial building caught fire on an area of 280 square meters in Romanovsky district of Altai Krai. This was reported on Sunday, February 9, by the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Altai Krai.

"The fire was localized on an area of about 280 square meters, the spread of fire has been stopped," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

In the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations added that 15 emergency workers and five fire tanker trucks are working on the site. It is noted that the preliminary cause of the fire may be a violation of the rules of installation of electrical equipment.

"Perhaps there was a short circuit of the power cable in the roof," - summarized the agency.
