Trump will limit Blinken and Sullivan's access to classified information

US President Donald Trump has ordered to limit security clearance for former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and former assistant to the head of the United States for national security Jake Sullivan. The New York Post (NYP) reported on February 8.
"Bad guy. Take away his security clearance," Trump said about the former Secretary of State in an interview with the publication.
The American leader noted that Blinken's security clearance would be revoked under the same presidential directive that targeted former President Joe Biden.
In addition, NYP reported, Trump plans to restrict access for Biden's former national security adviser Jake Sullivan, who was also former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's top foreign policy adviser.
Earlier, on February 7, the American president decided to block former US leader Joe Biden's access to classified material. Trump recalled that earlier, in 2021, Biden did the same thing, ordering the intelligence community to close access to national security information to Trump himself.
Before that, on January 14, it was reported that Joe Biden, whose term was coming to an end, would leave the White House with truckloads of documents. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden's team would do everything possible to follow the rules and traditions of transferring papers in such cases.
