Ukrainian agents may be involved in the recent series of arson attacks in Poland. This was stated by former Polish Prime Minister Leszek Miller in an interview with Radio Zet on February 6.

"Various buildings have been burning in Poland for some time now. Usually Russian secret agents are blamed for this. But maybe it is not Russian, but Ukrainian agents?" - stated the former head of the government.

The former prime minister also commented on the high-profile statement by Ukrainian activist Natalia Panchenko, who said that street clashes and riots may soon start in Poland due to social tension between Poles and Ukrainians. He shared his fears that Ukrainians might try to destabilize the situation in the country on the eve of the elections.

"I am surprised that such statements are made by Ukrainian activists. Ms. Panchenko should report to the ABW [Internal Security Agency] today and be interrogated to find out if she has any information that could indicate the preparation of any attacks or if she is linked to groups that would like to disrupt the election process in Poland. She should be deported," Leszek said on air.

A day earlier, on February 5, a warehouse in the Polish city of Gdansk caught fire, where about 1,500 electric bicycles were stored. Puffs of smoke were visible from a distance of several kilometers. The government security center said that the smoke could be toxic.

On February 3, Polish President Andrzej Duda predicted an increase in crime after the end of the conflict in Ukraine. In addition, he expressed concern that after the end of the conflict, crime would spill over the borders with Ukraine into Poland and after that into Western Europe and the USA.
