The granddaughter of the murdered former mayor of Samara, Viktor Tarkhov, Ekaterina did not open the door to investigators for five hours. The concierge of the house where the suspect in the murder of the former mayor and his wife lived told Izvestia on February 6.

According to her, when Ekaterina let the investigators in, they asked to call them to check if everything was in order. After which the granddaughter became very nervous, began to make up excuses not to call - "that the phone died, that the charger is not the same".

It is specified that at the scene of the alleged murder worked about 25 investigators. Investigative actions lasted about six hours.

According to investigators, they died about a month ago - that's when, according to video surveillance cameras in the entrance of the house, they were last seen. After that, no one saw the spouses alive, although they continued to receive messages on their behalf. However, acquaintances of the family became suspicious, and one of them turned to the police with a statement about the disappearance of the couple.

Soon, the ex-mayor 's granddaughter Ekaterina was arrested for two months on suspicion of murder. According to the investigation, she had been sending SMS messages from the phones of the former mayor and his wife for a month. In addition, she began selling the property of her grandparents under false documents. According to Izvestia's source, the ex-mayor's granddaughter claimed that Tarkhov and his wife had left the country.

According to one version, the granddaughter dismembered her grandmother and grandfather and gradually took the fragments of the bodies out of the house, taking them away by cab. The press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia said that the woman purchased items to cover up the murder of her grandfather, among them canisters with a chemical agent and plastic containers.
