Emergencies Ministry told about plans to index payments to Russians affected in emergency situations

Payments to Russians affected by emergencies are planned to be indexed by 9.5%. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation on February 6.

"EMERCOM of Russia has prepared draft resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation on indexation in 2025 of the size of lump-sum material and financial assistance to citizens in connection with the loss of their property of prime necessity and lump-sum benefits paid to citizens," - said in the Telegram-channel of the department.

It noted that the size of payments will be indexed by 9.5% taking into account the inflation rate, and in case of a positive decision of the government, the increased accruals will begin as early as April 1.
