Insurance pensions in Russia from 2026 will start to be indexed according to a new scheme - from February 1 and from April 1. This was told by Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs.

"In 2026, the indexation of insurance pensions will be carried out from February 1 by the annual inflation rate. It will already be set in January. And from April 1 on the growth of the investment portfolio of the fund. That is, it is such a fine-tuning, taking into account both the income received by the fund, and taking into account the growth, including median wages. This has already been approved," - said the MP in conversation with the site aif.ru.
