In the State Duma proposed to increase salaries of ambulance workers
The State Duma proposes to raise salaries of ambulance workers. Such a letter was sent to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin by the leader of the faction "Fair Russia - For Truth" Sergei Mironov, which was read by "Izvestia" on February 6.
In the document, Mironov says that Russia still has a serious shortage of medical personnel, and the situation continues to worsen.
"Particularly alarming are mass layoffs in the ambulance service, as well as the closure of departments and stations of emergency medical care in the regions. So, there is injustice in additional payments to some specialists, for example, nurses in rural areas receive an additional payment of about 30 thousand to the salary, an ambulance paramedic - 7 thousand, and a paramedic who works in the control room and distributes calls - 4.5 thousand," the document says.
At the same time, the deputy says, there are other problems, such as financial irregularities in regional services and risks associated with attacks on ambulance workers.
The document says that the State Duma is convinced that it is necessary to take priority measures to improve the organization of the ambulance service: increasing the remuneration of medical workers, including in terms of correcting imbalances in the size of additional payments and equalization of remuneration by region; giving medical workers a legal or social status that provides special conditions of criminal legal protection; developing a network of stationary emergency medical care units in rural areas, which will be repeated in the future.
"No one needs to explain the importance of the ambulance service in our lives. It is on it that matters of life and death often depend in the literal sense. Unfortunately, in recent years, the ambulance service itself has found itself in a position where it has to be rescued. Salaries are low, equipment breaks down, workers are dismissed, and substations are closed," Sergey Mironov explained his concern to Izvestia.
Earlier, on February 1, the State Duma told about the laws coming into force in February. It was reported that on February 1, the indexation of social payments and insurance pensions comes into force, which is brought to 9.5%. The amount of maternity capital will also be indexed by the same figure. The maximum payment will now amount to Br912 thousand.
