Media did not rule out possible protests in the U.S. against Trump's first executive orders

Protests against the first decrees of American President Donald Trump may take place in some US states. The Associated Press (AP) reported on February 5.

"The movement aimed at expressing protest against the early decisions of the administration of President Donald Trump is gaining momentum online, protests in a number of places in the United States will be held on Wednesday," - stated in the material.

According to the publication, the protesters have created several websites and accounts in social networks, where they promote protests under the slogans "reject fascism" and "protect our democracy", in particular, expressing dissatisfaction with Trump's migration policy. It is specified that protests can take place even in capitols.

On January 23, Fox News TV channel said that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement police for the first days of Trump's presidency detained more than 460 illegal migrants, including those who had convictions for sexual and domestic violence, as well as for crimes related to drugs and weapons.

Prior to that, Trump signed more than 200 new executive orders on Jan. 20, just after his inauguration. Among them, the introduction of the state of emergency on the border with Mexico. In addition, the American president repeatedly stated that he was going to cancel the granting of American citizenship by birthright.

After that, the media learned about the US plans to send thousands of military personnel to protect the border with Mexico. To date, about 2.2 thousand military personnel are already on the border as part of Task Force North in El Paso, Texas.
