Musk pointed to the redistribution of the US budget in favor of refugees under Biden

American entrepreneur Ilon Musk said that under the administration of former U.S. President Joe Biden billions of dollars went to promote illegal migration, rather than to help needy citizens of the United States. He wrote about it in the social network X (former Twitter) on February 4.
So he commented on the post of a user of the social network, in which it was claimed that despite the large-scale spending on refugee aid, the United States did not have enough money to help victims of Hurricane Helen.
"When Biden was in office, billions of dollars supposed to help Americans in need were diverted to facilitate illegal migration. This is a complete failure!" - Musk wrote.
Earlier, on January 21, it was reported that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) began detaining illegal migrants for further deportation.
On the same day, a coalition of at least 18 states filed a lawsuit against United States President Donald Trump's decision to limit the granting of US citizenship by birthright. Another group of states, which included Arizona and Washington, filed another separate lawsuit against the decision signed by the country's leader.
Also on Jan. 21, The New York Times pointed out Trump's violation of the country's Constitution in the immigrant law. The publication reported that the president cannot revoke birthright citizenship on his own. Since the U.S. leader does not have the power to amend the Constitution on his own, any executive order limiting or eliminating birthright citizenship would be challenged in court as a violation of the 14th Amendment.
