Pushkov says Europe has overestimated its strength and gone to pieces

Europe has "gone to pieces" by overestimating its strength, and this will not end well for it. This was stated by the head of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy, Alexei Pushkov, in his Telegram channel on February 3.
He pointed to a number of statements by European Union (EU) leaders. For example, about the EU's plans to further sponsor Ukraine, to enter into a trade war with the United States by imposing retaliatory trade sanctions against them, intentions to continue buying expensive gas from the United States and Qatar and to wage a war against energy from Russia.
Pushkov also pointed out that in doing so, the EU will demand that China stop supporting Russia while lecturing it on human rights, and will continue to saturate its countries with migrants from Africa, the Middle East and Hindustan and spend huge amounts of money on them.
In addition, EU leaders say they intend to prepare for war with Russia, increase military spending and put the economy on a "war footing."
"But don't Europe overestimate its forces? After all, if we summarize it briefly, all together it is called "going to pieces". And nothing good will end for Europe," Pushkov wrote.
On this day, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban called madness what is happening in Europe because of the actions of US President Donald Trump. According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, it is necessary to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, stop the migration crisis and "gender madness".
Earlier, on January 27, the media reported that the Trump administration's disregard for the heads of the European Union became a "cold shower" for European officials in Brussels.
The day before, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Europe would face problems with Trump's return to the White House. He explained that he was referring to the U.S. president's demand for European countries to increase defense spending.
The magazine Foreign Policy on January 23 called unfounded confidence of European politicians who believe that they are ready for a second term of Trump. The piece specified that Europe is focused on the wrong goals, distracted by political crises and "far from being ready for challenges."
At the same time, Trump said that he was not sure whether to continue sponsoring NATO, as Washington defends the members of the alliance and in return does not receive help. In addition, he repeated his statement that NATO should raise defense spending from 2 percent to 5 percent of WFP.
