Rosgvardiya fighters destroyed an AFU M777 howitzer by drone in the Kursk Region


In Kursk Region, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Russian Federal Guard destroyed a 155 mm howitzer M777 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported in the Telegram-channel of the department on January 29.
"Rosgvardia special forces fighters found and destroyed a 155-mm howitzer M777 of American manufacture in one of the districts of the Kursk region," - stated in the statement.
It is specified that the howitzer of the AFU were able to destroy thanks to the well-coordinated interaction of operators of reconnaissance and attack drones.
Earlier, January 23, the operator of the Rosgvardiya UAV destroyed self-propelled artillery installation 2S1 "Gvozdika" AFU in the Kursk region. It was specified that the camouflaged "Gvozdika" was destroyed by a precise strike of a fiber-optic kamikaze drone.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory continues.
