Governor Gladkov reported a drone attack on the city of Graivoron
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked the town of Graivoron in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov on January 27 in his Telegram channel
"As a result of dropping an explosive device from a drone, the glazing of a private household was damaged. The gas pipeline was broken by shrapnel - the gas leak has been eliminated by emergency crews," he said in a message published at 5:06.
Power lines were also damaged in places during the attack. Part of the city was left without light.
"According to preliminary information, no one was injured," the governor emphasized.
Earlier, air defense means destroyed seven Ukrainian UAVs over the Belgorod region and Crimea. It is specified that five of them were shot down over the territory of Belgorod region and two - over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.
On January 26, the Defense Ministry reported 15 destroyed Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions. Eight drones were shot down over the territory of Ryazan Region, six over Kursk Region and one over Belgorod Region.
Ukraine 's armed forces are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
